Camille Cummings papers, 1888-1984, (bulk) 1920-1965.

The collection includes materials related to Camille's personal life, including her books, diaries, poetry, and other writings, legal papers and photographs. It also includes letters, cards, notes, and telegrams written to Camille, including many from celebrities. The Haynes-Nesbit family papers are included in the Cummings collection. Poetry by Mame Haynes, letters between her and Camille, and other family history and correspondence are here as well as papers from and about her two sisters and materials on Evelyn Nesbit. Correspondence, professional materials, and divorce papers from her husbands, Elliot Paul and Andres Ferret are here, along with materials from Clifford B. Harmon and the League of International Aviators, and the legal case, Ferret vs Allen.

Camille Haynes was born in Livingstone, Montana, in 1900, the youngest daughter of Mame Nesbit and Irenus Haynes.
